POST /linkedin_job_search • Credits: 0.1 credits per returned job
LinkedIn Job Search returns LinkedIn job postings that match a job title, a company, a location, a job type and an experience level. The response holds one page of job postings in the elements array. Each POST call costs 0.1 credits per returned job, and a full page of 25 jobs costs 2.5 credits.
What does LinkedIn Job Search do?
Sales teams need to know which companies grow right now. A company that posts a job has budget and a plan to hire. LinkedIn Job Search reads LinkedIn job postings and returns them as structured records. Each record holds the job ID, the job title, the company name and the location. Every parameter is a filter, and every parameter is optional. The data source is LinkedIn. One call returns one page of job postings, and the page parameter moves through the pages.

How do I find companies that hire right now?
A new job posting is a hiring signal. A company that posts a job has budget, and it plans to grow the team. Sales teams use that signal to time an outbound message. Follow these steps:
Set
titleto the role that your product supports, for exampleSales Development Representative.Set
locationorgeoIdto your target market.Set
experienceLevelto the seniority that matches your buyer.Send the request and read the
elementsarray.Read
companyNamefor each job posting. That company hires right now.Find the LinkedIn company URL for that company name.
Send the LinkedIn company URL to Company Enrichment API for the size, the industry and the website.

How does LinkedIn Job Search pagination work?
LinkedIn Job Search returns one page of up to 25 job postings per call. The page parameter selects the page, and the default value is 0. To read the next page, send the same filters again with the page value increased by 1. When the elements array comes back empty, stop. Each page is a separate call, and each page costs 0.1 credits per returned job posting.
How much does LinkedIn Job Search cost?
LinkedIn Job Search costs 0.1 credits for each job posting in the elements array. One credit costs $0.02 on the 1,000 and 5,000 credit packs, so one job posting costs $0.002 there. Larger packs cost less per credit. A full page of 25 job postings costs 25 x 0.1 = 2.5 credits. That is $0.05.
Cost of one call, by the number of job postings returned:
Job postings returned | Credits | Cost |
0 | 0 | $0.00 |
5 | 0.5 | $0.01 |
10 | 1 | $0.02 |
25 (one full page) | 2.5 | $0.05 |
Cost of many calls, with a full page of 25 job postings per call:
Calls | Job postings | Credits | Cost |
1 | 25 | 2.5 | $0.05 |
10 | 250 | 25 | $0.50 |
40 | 1,000 | 100 | $2.00 |
100 | 2,500 | 250 | $5.00 |
400 | 10,000 | 1,000 | $20.00 |
RichAPI reserves 2.5 credits before each call. That reservation is the page size of 25 multiplied by 0.1 credits. After the response arrives, RichAPI charges 0.1 credits per returned job posting and releases the rest of the reservation. RichAPI refunds the full reservation for any response outside the 200 range.

Frequently asked questions
Does LinkedIn Job Search use GET or POST?
LinkedIn Job Search uses POST. Send every parameter in the JSON request body, because the API rejects a query string parameter with a 400 error.
How many job postings does one LinkedIn Job Search page return?
One LinkedIn Job Search page returns up to 25 job postings in the elements array. To read the next page, send the same filters again with the page value increased by 1.
Does a LinkedIn Job Search call that returns zero job postings cost credits?
No. RichAPI charges 0.1 credits per job posting in the elements array, so an empty elements array costs 0 credits. RichAPI releases the whole reservation after the response arrives.
Is any LinkedIn Job Search parameter required?
No. All seven LinkedIn Job Search parameters are optional. Send at least one filter, such as title or company, so that the search returns a useful list.
How do I use LinkedIn Job Search as a hiring signal for sales?
Search for the job titles that your product supports in your target market. Each result in elements names a company that hires right now. A company that hires has growth and budget.
How do I get the full description of a job posting?
Send the id value of the job posting to the LinkedIn Job Details API. LinkedIn Job Details costs 1 credit per call and returns the full job description, the employment type and the workplace type.
What is the difference between location and geoId?
The location parameter takes a location text value, for example San Francisco. The geoId parameter takes a LinkedIn geo ID, and it filters the search to an exact LinkedIn location.
