A RichAPI account is created with your email address and password to access the dashboard at https://app.richapi.ai. You sign up with your email and password, confirm your email via the link sent to your inbox, and sign in on future visits using your email and password (or Enterprise SSO).
What is a RichAPI account?
A RichAPI account belongs to one email address. The account gives you access to one or more workspaces. A workspace owns the API keys and the usage history. The credit balance belongs to the organization, and every workspace in it spends from that balance. RichAPI creates the account the first time that you sign up with an address. The same account works for the dashboard, for the MCP consent screen, and for a team invitation.

A signed-in browser cannot open either page. RichAPI sends that browser to the dashboard at /home.
How to create a RichAPI account
Open

Type your password again in the second password field ("Please repeat your new password to confirm it").
Click Sign up with Email →.
Open the confirmation email from RichAPI.
Click the confirmation link in the email. It verifies your email and opens your account directly in any browser.
Read the Create Team dialog. Accept the suggested name, or type your own in Team Name.
Click Create Team.
RichAPI creates the workspace and opens the dashboard at /home/<workspace>.
How to sign in with Email and Password
CAUTION: Never share your account password. If you suspect unauthorized access, reset your password immediately via the "Forgot Password?" link on the sign-in page.

How to sign in with Enterprise SSO
For organizations that set up single sign-on (SSO) with RichAPI:

Type your corporate email in the Work email field (
[email protected]).Click Sign in with SSO.
RichAPI redirects to your company's SSO provider to complete authentication and opens the dashboard.
(To return to standard email and password sign-in at any time, click Back to sign in).
How does RichAPI confirm your email address?
RichAPI sends an email confirmation link immediately after you submit the sign-up form. Clicking the link in your email proves that you own the address, confirms your account, and opens the dashboard in any browser.
If you attempt to sign in before clicking the confirmation link, sign-in will prompt you with: "Please confirm your email address before signing in". Open the link in your email to complete verification.
What happens after your first sign-in?
RichAPI opens /home. An account with at least one workspace goes straight to /home/<team-slug>.
An account with no workspace shows the empty state "You don't have any teams yet." and the text "Create a team to get started." RichAPI then opens the Create Team dialog. It fills the Team Name field with a suggested name. The suggestion is the part of your email address before the @ sign, followed by 's Team. Change the name and click Create Team.
How to reset a forgotten password
Open
https://app.richapi.ai/auth/sign-in.Click Forgot Password? right below the password field.
Enter your registered email address and submit.
Open the password reset email received from RichAPI.
Click the reset link, enter your new password, and confirm.
Return to the sign-in page and log in with your new password.
How to sign out of RichAPI
Open any dashboard page.
Find the account menu at the bottom of the left sidebar.
Click the menu to open it.
Click Sign out.
RichAPI ends the session and opens the sign-in page.
Sign out ends the session in the current browser. RichAPI has no "sign out of all devices" control.
How to fix a failed RichAPI sign-in

Frequently asked questions
How do I reset my RichAPI password?
Click Forgot Password? on the sign-in page (https://app.richapi.ai/auth/sign-in), enter your email address, and follow the link sent to your inbox to choose a new password.
Can I sign in to RichAPI with Google, GitHub, or Single Sign-On (SSO)?
Standard accounts use direct Email and Password authentication (consumer social logins like Google/GitHub are not supported). For Enterprise organizations, single sign-on (SSO) can be set up with the RichAPI team, so that team members sign in with Sign in with SSO.
Must I open the RichAPI confirmation link in the same browser?
No. The confirmation link verifies your account and opens the dashboard in any browser or device.
Does a RichAPI account cost credits to create?
No. Creating an account, signing in, and signing out cost no credits. RichAPI charges credits for API calls and for MCP tool calls only.
Can I change the email address on my RichAPI account?
Yes. Select Settings in the Account group of the sidebar. On the Profile tab, find the Update your Email card. Type the new address and submit the form. RichAPI sends an email to complete the change.
How do I sign out of RichAPI on every device?
The dashboard has one Sign out control, in the account menu at the bottom of the left sidebar. It ends the session in the current browser only. RichAPI has no control that ends every session at once.
